Blue is celebrated as a marker of socioeconomic status in history\, a symbol of cultural pride and economic exploitation\, and as a metaphor for sadness and depression. Artworks such as blue-and-white porcelain\, hand-pigmented paper pulp\, and cyanotype photography explore these concepts by updating forms and materials to reflect current-day concerns with a nod to historical precedent. Confirmed artists include Adam Chau\, Ifé Franklin\, Michelle Samour\, Heather Evans Smith\, and Andrea Pettway Williams. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Details\n \n \n \n \n \n \n August 21-December 20\, 2024 \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Price\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Free Entry \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Venue\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nIris & B. It is a tale of deceit\, jealousy\, and accusations of infidelity that leads ultimately to the slandering and subjugation of an innocent princess. Imogen emerges triumphant when she confronts and ultimately absolves the men who have betrayed and maligned her. Filled with action and song\, Cymbeline is an epic romantic adventure about the power of love and the centrality of family that concludes with shocking revelations and a joyous reconciliation. \nEd Isser directs. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nEVENING PRESENTATIONS\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nTHU NOV 7 @ 7:30 PM \nFRI NOV 8 @ 7:30 PM \nSAT NOV 9 @ 7:30 PM \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nMATINEE PRESENTATIONS\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nSUN NOV 10 @ 2:00 PM \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Details\n \n \n \n \n \n \n October 31 at 7:30 PMNovember 1\, 2\, 7\, 8\, and 9 at 7:30 PMNovember 3 and 10 at 2:00 PM \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Price\n \n \n \n \n \n \n $15 Public | $10 Holy Cross Community \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Venue\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nBoroughs TheatreThe Prior Performing Arts Center
