DESCRIPTION:Department of Music\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Kalaf Epalanga Residency\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Keynote\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				 \n\nThis March\, Angolan musician and writer Kalaf Epalanga joins the Music Department as a 2026 Patrick E. Moriarty Visiting Scholar. \nAs a musician\, Kalaf co-founded the record label Enchufada and is a member of the music collective Buraka Som Sistema.
