An immersive\, interactive work featuring Jie Ma\, pipa player (traditional Chinese lute)\, educator & sound artist; Brian Foreman\, percussionist and electronic musician; and Professor Brian Saia\, sound designer. \nWhere thousands of years of eastern tradition meet music technology\, it’s an evening that asks the question: what does it mean to remember through sound? \nThe performance is the culmination of a residency that brings Polytope Music into the classroom\, where students work alongside the artists to explore how tradition and technology can be woven into living sound.
