DESCRIPTION:Creative Writing Program\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Working Writers Series\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Diannely Antigua & Philip Metres\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				 \n\nPoets Diannely Antigua and Philip Metres will read from and discuss their work as part of the Working Writers Series sponsored by the Creative Writing Program. \nDiannely Antigua is a Dominican American poet\, educator\, and community organizer born and raised in Massachusetts. She is the author of the poetry collections Ugly Music\, which was the winner of the Pamet River Prize and a 2020 Whiting Award\, and Good Monster. \nPhilip Metres is the author of thirteen books\, including Dispatches from the Land of Erasure (2025)\, Fugitive/Refuge\, and Sand Opera. His work has garnered fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation\, Lannan Foundation\, the NEA\, and the Ohio Arts Council.
