Nicole Flattery

The Irish writer Nicole Flattery is author of the short story collection Show Them a Good Time (2019) and the novel Nothing Special (2023). Winner of the An Post Irish Book Award, the Kate O’Brien Prize, the London Magazine Prize for Debut Fiction, and the White Review Short Story Prize, her work has appeared in the Stinging Fly, the Guardian, and the London Review of Books. In 2023, she served as one of the two inaugural writers for the Writers Room at the Dublin’s Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), a program in which Holy Cross’s Callahan Fund is a partner.
