HCxWCC: Creative Residencies for Worcester Artists at The Prior

The Prior celebrates its HCxWCC Artists-In-Residence program, a partnership between the College and the City of Worcester focused on the cultivation of creative projects from a dozen artists in the Worcester area from 2024–26. About the HCxWCC Grant Program

Holy Cross (HC) and the City of Worcester Cultural Division / Worcester Cultural Coalition (WCC) proudly partnered on a three-year program (2024-2026) of summer creative residencies at Holy Cross for local Worcester artists.

HCxWCC was funded by Holy Cross’ Scholarship in Action program, which advances community-engaged research in Worcester through partnerships with faculty, students and community stakeholders.

Each year of the program provided local artists or companies with the physical and financial resources to develop work in progress during a 5-10 day paid summer residency at the Prior Performing Arts Center on the Holy Cross campus.
