Students and faculty have been paired with designers who will elevate a lab coat to reflect their research and science identity. These lab coats will be worn by the scientists in a fashion show. Attendees are invited to decorate a lab coat and hit the runway during a special segment.

The event also features speakers from Holy Cross (Prof. Ann Marie Leshkowich), Boston University (Prof. Lucy Kim – Associate Professor of Art and Painting who received the 2022 Creative Capital Award for her project creating images with melanin produced by live, genetically-modified bacteria) and Tufts University (Prof. Dan Jay – Professor of Biology who creates art pieces from unusual chemicals and chemical reactions).
