This lunchtime concert program will feature solo piano music by Felix Mendelssohn, Frédéric Chopin, and Alexander Scriabin.

Pamela Z, a pioneering composer, performer, and interdisciplinary artist, blends live looping, extended vocal techniques, and custom-designed, gesture-controlled music technology to create interactive, multilayered performances that fuse sound, image, and movement. Join us for this lecture-demonstration at The Prior's Booth Media Lab, part of Pamela Z’s five-day residency with the Departments of Music and Computer Science as a Distinguished Visiting Practitioner. This program from the Holy Cross Department of Music invites listeners to explore a rich tapestry of twentieth-century piano music, in which currents of the Baroque tradition inspire innovative voices.

A masterclass presented by the Rasa String Quartet as part of their visiting artist residency, featuring student ensembles from the Chamber Music course.
